Our Commitment

Wholesale Schoolwear, Inc. is committed to making our website, www.wholesaleschoolwear.com, accessible to everyone, including people who are blind or have low vision, and people with other disabilities. We want every customer to be able to browse, shop, and place orders independently.

Our Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities.

What We Have Done

  • Added text descriptions to images, so screen readers can describe them.
  • Made menus, search, the cart, and product options work with a keyboard alone.
  • Added a visible outline that shows where you are when navigating with a keyboard.
  • Labeled buttons, links, and form fields so screen readers announce them clearly.
  • Organized pages with clear headings, so screen reader users can skim them.
  • Improved color contrast so text is easier to read.
  • Tested our pages with automated accessibility tools and keyboard testing.

Our website is designed to work with common screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver, in current versions of popular web browsers.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our website and fix issues as we find them, including when we add new pages, products, or features.

Some parts of our website are provided by third parties, such as our checkout and account login (provided by Shopify), our live chat, and our product reviews. We work with these providers and choose tools that support accessibility, but we do not fully control their content.
